Week 31

Hello Team,

I hope that this newsletter finds you safe and healthy, and that each of you had a Happy and Blessed Easter holiday and an enjoyable, albeit different, Spring Break.

The month of April brings us into compassion. If ever there was a time to be compassionate, the time is now. The definition for compassion states, "to look beyond yourself to care for, comfort and empower others." Compassion starts first at home which tells me that you must care for those who you see every day. Is there anything that you can do for them before they ask you to do it? How can you help make their life a little easier? Next, support your community, colleagues, and students. This is definitely a time to check-in on one another!

As you know, we are moving into remote learning and making those connections with our students and their families is at the top of the list. Phone calls, emails, social media and even letters in the mail is what will get us through these tough times. Showing compassion to others helps us and makes us better.

Making connections!
